Online business transactions. This can be done through businesses or straight to consumers. This way of buying and selling is becoming a more and more popular way to do business.

Email

Email is electronic mail sent through the internet. While you cannot send packages, you can send files and messages from one account to another.

Email Forwarding

Resending an email from one inbox to another. This is similar to URL forwarding.

Email POP Account

POP literally means Post Office Protocol. These are used to retrieve email from a mail server. Pop accounts usually come with a web hosting plan.

Entry Page

The entry page is usually the home page on a website. This is the page that visitors will go to when they first enter a site.

EPC - Earnings per Clicks

The average earned amount of money for a certain amount of clicks on a site. Usually the amount paid per 100 clicks.

EPM - Earnings Per Impression

The amount earned over a certain period of time for 1000 impressions.

Escrow

A third party that holds the money from a buyer of a domain name. This is to protect the buyer and the seller.

Excite

An early search engine from the 1990s. They can be slow to put in new pages, but are considered one of the best search engines ever.

Expired Domain

A domain that has not been paid for in the allotted time, but has not yet been dropped from the system.
